An early breakfast and then a full day tour of both Old and New Delhi. The capital of India was designed and built by the British in the 1920’s. A city of wide boulevards, impressive Government buildings, showcasing much of Mughal architecture.

After breakfast, drive to the Pataudi palace, your accommodation for the night. You may recall that the Nawab of Pataudi was a successful Captain of the Indian Cricket team. Julia Roberts who starred in Eat, Pray, and Love, shots a few scenes in the movie at the Hari Mandir Ashram and in the nearby village of Mirzapur.

After Breakfast, travel to the Pink city of Jaipur – for your overnight stay at the (Best Exotic) Marigold Hotel.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel – The major part of this film was shot in locations of Rajasthan such as Udaipur and Jaipur. Rajasthan was primarily chosen as the setting for the story due to its beauty and the richness of its culture. One sequence of the movie was also shot in the flower and vegetable market in Jaipur. Scenes in the film included famous forts and palaces that abound in this region.
The Darjeeling Limited starred Adrien Brody, Qwen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman. Wes Anderson, the director, inspired with the movies of legendary film maker Satyajeet Ray, was keen to make this film in the region. The Himalayan scenes was shot in Udaipur and the opening plot was shot in Jodhpur. The climax of the movie was shot in the old terminal Building of Udaipur Airport.
Jaipur
Early morning departure for the Amber Fort – With its forbidding ramparts reflected in the still waters of the Maota Lake below. One of the finest Examples of Rajput architecture. An exciting feature is the Elephant ride to the Fort. Afternoon, visit Jaipur city – Hawa mahal, the city Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar (observatory) and the Kanota Fort. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur / Jodhpur (Approx. 340 Kms/ 6 Hr.Drive)
Depart for Jodhpur early in the morning – A City featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar desert.
On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Afternoon visit Osiyan – Rich in culture heritage with 16 temples that adorn this stunning desert escape. An exciting Camel Safari Awaits.
The dark knight Rises – A crucial sequence of the movie was filmed at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. Cristopher Nolan, the Director, visited India in search of shooting locations and fell in love with the beauty of this desert city.
Jodhpur / Udaipur(Approx. 250 Kms / 5-6 Hr.Drive)
After breakfast, a city tour of Jodhpur, the home of the Rathore rulers. Visit Mehrangarh Fort. Founded in 1459AD and Jaswant Thada, an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of Bravery and generosity of the rulers in 19th Century. Early evening drive to Udaipur for your overnight stay.
Udaipur
Breakfast, then Visit Udaipur – A city of beautiful lakes, palaces and fountains. Visit the city Palace Museum, Sahelion ki Bari – The spectacular garden, displaying the unique lifestyle of the royal ladies who once lived in the palace and in the evening enjoy a boat cruise on The Lake Pichola.
Many scenes in Octopussy, the James Bond movie starring Roger Moore was shot at the lake palace hotel.

Udaipur / Mumbai (By Air)
Morning transfer to the Airport to board your flight for a three night stay to Mumbai, the most populous city in India.
Mission Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol – A significant part of the movie was shot in South Mumbai, starring Tom Cruise and also marked the debut of Anil Kapoor in mainstream Hollywood. A specially designed BMW SS01 was used in the film that passes through the streets of Bora Bazaar, just opposite the railway station in Mumbai.
Slumdog Millionaire – Winner of many accolades and awards, was actually based on the Indian Slums and their lifestyle. Director, Danny Boyle shot this movie in the Slum areas of Mumbai. You will see other locations in Mumbai that were included in the film.
The story revolved around a boy’s journey from rags to riches. The film was greatly criticised for the poor depiction of India and its people but the movie went on to win a bunch of Oscars.

Morning transfer to the Airport to board the flight to Hyderabad, historically known as a pearl and diamond trading center and continues to be known as “City of Pearls”.
Hyderabad
After Breakfast, visit Golconda Fort – The ruins of the ancient capital Hyderabad state (13th to 15th Century).
Afternoon, visit Hyderabad City – Built by Sultan Mohammad Shah. The Charminar is the Magnificent square edifice of granite, built upon four grand arches facing north, south, east and west with 56 meter high Slender minarets and spiral staircases. Mecca Masjid, built in 1614, is the grand Mosque of South India. Birla Mandir, is a white marble temple dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara.
